Savage Axis 2 30-06 Springfield 22" Bolt Action Rifle 4-Round FDE

The Savage Axis 2 Gen II is a bolt-action centerfire rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, aimed at hunters who want a lightweight, entry-level rifle in a modern finish. It pairs a matte black metal finish with a Flat Dark Earth synthetic stock.

The rifle has a 22-inch barrel and a 42.5-inch overall length, which keeps it maneuverable in blinds, stands and dense cover. It weighs 6.6 pounds and uses a detachable 4-round box magazine. A two-position top tang safety sits within reach of the shooting hand, and integral swivel studs allow a sling to be attached without additional hardware. The rifle ships without sights, so an optic or iron sights must be added separately.
