Savage Axis 2 30-06 Springfield 20" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle OD Green

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 centers on a redesigned platform that improves out of the box performance over the original Axis line. Its user adjustable AccuTrigger allows the shooter to set pull weight anywhere between 2.5 and 6 pounds giving hunters a crisper more consistent break than a fixed factory trigger. The 20 inch matte black carbon steel barrel is threaded 5/8x24 so shooters can add a muzzle brake or suppressor without a gunsmith visit. A 1:10 inch twist rate stabilizes a wide range of .30-06 bullet weights for both hunting and target applications. The updated bolt handle features a sleek ergonomic design that enhances control and comfort during operation especially useful in adverse conditions like rain or cold weather gloves. The OD Green fixed synthetic stock includes a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells giving a secure and comfortable grip for right handed shooters. A detachable box magazine holding 4+1 rounds simplifies reloading and safe unloading in the field. With a drilled and tapped receiver ready for scope mounting and a two position top tang safety the Axis 2 is a complete ready to hunt package right out of the box.
