Savage Arms Axis 2 30-06 Springfield 22" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 in .30-06 is built around a button rifled sporter barrel finished in matte black a manufacturing process that delivers tight consistent rifling for accuracy without the cost of cut rifling. The floating bolt head and thread-in headspacing work together to extract the utmost precision from the action so shots stay consistent from the bench to the field. A thumb safety gives the shooter positive easy-to-reach control over the rifle s readiness and the receiver is drilled and tapped for mounting optics of the shooter s choice. This is a rifle built to be accurate straight out of the box rather than requiring a gunsmith s touch to perform. The Axis 2 s synthetic stock in black with granite accents is molded for natural ergonomics letting hunters shoot their best regardless of body type or shooting position. This fixed stock pairs with the user-adjustable AccuTrigger which lets the shooter dial in a trigger pull between 2.5 and 6 pounds to match their preference rather than living with a factory-set pull. The 4+1 capacity keeps the rifle light and maneuverable for still hunting and stand hunting alike while the carbon steel barrel construction stands up to years of field use. For sale at ARMSAGORA the Axis 2 is a capable no-frills hunting rifle for the deer woods and beyond.
