Savage Arms Axis XP 243 Win 20" Threaded 4-Round Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Arms Axis XP Features The Savage Arms Axis XP is built around a precision button rifled barrel with a 1:9.25 inch twist rate cut and threaded at 5/8x24 so hunters can add a suppressor or muzzle brake as needed. Thread in headspacing tightens tolerances between the barrel and receiver a key factor in the rifle s out of the box accuracy. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting though this rifle ships already fitted with a 3-9x40mm scope mounted and bore-sighted at the factory to save hunters a trip to the range. A two position safety and a detachable box magazine round out a straightforward dependable operating system. The enhanced bolt handle features a sleek ergonomic design that improves grip and control during cycling especially valuable in cold or wet field conditions. A durable synthetic stock finished in black includes enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for comfortable use by right and left handed shooters. This complete package eliminates the need to source and mount a separate optic letting hunters get into the field faster. Affordable accurate and ready to hunt the Axis XP is a strong choice for hunters seeking a dependable .243 Win rifle.
