Description
The Savage Arms AXIS 2 XP is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 243 Winchester, intended for hunting. This combo package includes a factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40 scope, so it is ready to use once delivered.
The rifle has a 22-inch barrel and a matte green finish. It uses a bolt action and a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, with thread-in headspacing. The stock has a redesigned, ergonomic shape with enhanced texturing, and the pistol grip includes ambidextrous palm swells. The bolt handle is updated for better control in rain or cold weather.
The scope is optics-ready, with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments. The 40mm objective lens and 3-9x magnification range suit a variety of hunting situations.
