Savage Axis 2 XP Wood .25-06 Rem 20 Threaded Barrel 4-Rounds w/ 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Axis 2 XP in .25-06 Rem is built around a precision button-rifled barrel that is threaded 5/8x24 for a suppressor or muzzle brake giving hunters the flexibility to manage recoil and noise in the field. The 20 barrel and 1:10 twist rate are matched to deliver reliable accuracy on the enhanced bolt handle design which gives a more positive ergonomic grip when cycling rounds quickly on a follow-up shot. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger allows the shooter to set trigger pull to a personal preference translating directly into a cleaner break and better shot placement in the field. A detachable box magazine feeding 4 rounds keeps reloads fast during a hunt rounding out a rifle built for dependable performance. The ergonomic hardwood stock carries enhanced texturing at the grip and forend for a sure hold in wet or cold conditions while the contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells fits shooters comfortably regardless of hand dominance. A 3-9x40mm scope arrives already mounted and bore-sighted at the factory saving the buyer the time and expense of a separate mounting trip and getting them shooting sooner. The blued metal finish stands up to field use and everyday handling while the overall 40.5 length and 7.8 lb weight keep the rifle balanced and manageable to carry over long distances.
