Savage Axis XP Compact 243 Win 20" Threaded LH Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis XP Compact Features The Savage Arms Axis XP is loaded with features that deliver tack-driving accuracy on every shot including a precision button-rifled 20 barrel threaded at 5/8x24 for a muzzle device. Thread-in headspacing tightens factory tolerances an advantage that pays off with the versatile .243 Win cartridge on both varmints and deer. The two-position top tang safety keeps operation quick and simple and the trigger breaks in a 5 to 7 lb range for consistent shot placement. The enhanced bolt handle carries a sleek ergonomic design that improves user control and comfort during operation especially in adverse field conditions. Built in a compact configuration this rifle carries a 12.75 length of pull and 39.5 overall length a natural fit for smaller-framed or younger shooters. The black synthetic stock is molded with a pistol grip for a stable repeatable hold and a 4-round detachable box magazine keeps reloads quick between shots. The drilled and tapped matte black receiver stands ready for a different optic setup though it ships factory-mounted and boresighted with a 3-9x40mm scope carrying a Duplex reticle. At 7.5 lbs this left-hand Axis XP Compact is a lightweight ready-to-hunt rifle for .243 Win hunters.
