Description
The Savage Arms AXIS 2 Compact Youth is a left-hand bolt-action rifle chambered in 400 Legend, designed for youth and smaller-framed shooters who want a lightweight, manageable hunting rifle. Its gray finish is matte, and the carbon steel construction keeps the rifle practical for field use.
The rifle has a 20-inch barrel and an overall length of 39.5 inches, weighing 6.3 pounds. It holds 4 rounds and is supplied without iron sights, so it is intended to be used with an optic or other sighting system. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger and thread-in headspacing are features of the AXIS 2 platform. The bolt handle has a redesigned ergonomic shape to aid control and comfort in rain or cold weather.
The AXIS 2 is offered in the 400 Legend chambering in this compact youth configuration. The redesigned stock features enhanced texturing and a pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells.
