Savage Model 40 Deluxe Rifle, .22 Small, Long, Long Rifle, 23 inch Barrel

The Savage Model 4 Deluxe (often stamped as the Model 4, 4C, or 4M) chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle with a 23-inch or 24-inch barrel is a highly regarded, classic pre-WWII to mid-century bolt-action rimfire rifle. Manufactured by the Savage Arms Corporation primarily between 1932 and 1964, the "Deluxe" variants are specifically prized for bringing premium centerfire style aesthetics and adult-sized ergonomics to a rimfire platform.
