Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro 6mm Creedmoor 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro centers on a thread in headspaced spiral fluted barrel finished in black Cerakote over carbon steel a combination that trims weight at the muzzle while resisting corrosion through long seasons in the field. The 1:7.5 twist rate is matched to the 6mm Creedmoor cartridge s longer heavier bullets stabilizing them for flatter trajectories at extended range. A one piece Picatinny rail rides atop the receiver giving shooters a solid repeatable mounting platform for glass without the alignment issues separate base screws can introduce. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake directly letting hunters manage recoil or sound signature without sending the barrel out for gunsmith work. Handling comes from the redesigned synthetic stock finished in Mossy Oak Original Bottomland camouflage with enhanced texturing at the grip and forend for a secure hold in wet or gloved conditions. The contoured pistol grip adds ambidextrous palm swells that fill the hand evenly while the user adjustable length of pull lets a shooter tailor stock fit to their build or layered hunting clothing. An updated ergonomic bolt handle gives a cleaner more positive cycling motion between shots which matters when a follow up shot has to happen fast. At 6.9 lbs and 39.5 overall with the two position top tang safety and a rubber recoil pad soaking up felt recoil the Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is a complete field ready rifle for sale at ARMSAGORA built for hunters chasing accuracy in the brush.
