Description

The Savage Axis 2 Pro Compact is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 350 Legend, built for optics-first hunting at close to moderate range, such as deer and hog hunting. It has no iron sights, so it is designed to be mounted with a scope and used right away.

The rifle has an 18-inch carbon steel barrel with a 1:10-inch twist rate and a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle, finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote for corrosion resistance. The one-piece Picatinny rail receiver provides a mounting surface for optics, and the user-adjustable AccuTrigger and thread-in headspacing support consistent shot-to-shot accuracy. The rifle weighs 6.7 pounds and measures 39.5 inches overall.

The Forest SP Camo synthetic stock has a textured grip coating and a fixed pistol grip, with a 12.75-inch length of pull suited to younger and smaller-framed shooters. A 4-round detachable box magazine feeds the action.
