Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro 6.5 Creedmoor 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is built around a spiral fluted threaded 20 barrel with a 1:8 twist rate and the fluting cuts weight while helping the barrel shed heat during extended strings of fire. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle lets shooters add a suppressor or muzzle device for their 6.5 Creedmoor build. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail is mounted directly to the Black Cerakote coated receiver giving shooters a solid repeatable base for mounting a riflescope. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs and an updated ergonomic bolt handle design improves control and comfort when cycling the action in demanding weather. The Mossy Oak Original Bottomland synthetic stock features enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells giving shooters a secure hold in wet or cold conditions. An adjustable length of pull lets the rifle be tailored to the individual shooter for a more consistent mount shot after shot. A rubber recoil pad helps absorb felt recoil from the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge and the detachable box magazine holds 4 rounds for quick reloads in the field. At 6.9 lbs the Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro balances a durable Cerakote finish and camo pattern with the accuracy hunters expect from the Axis platform.
