Savage Axis 2 Pro 338 ARC 16.5" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is built around a spiral fluted threaded 16.5 barrel at a 1:8 twist trimming weight while the 5/8x24 muzzle stands ready to accept a suppressor or brake. Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote protects both the barrel and receiver against weather and wear far better than a standard finish holding up to repeated exposure to rain mud and freezing temperatures in the field. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail sits atop the receiver allowing an optic to be mounted and zeroed immediately without hunting for a proprietary base or drilling and tapping. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets shooters dial in a clean break anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs so the rifle can be set up as light or as heavy as the hunter prefers for a crisp consistent release shot after shot. The Forest SP Camo synthetic stock carries enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for a secure confident hold in heavy cover even when hands are cold or wet. An updated ergonomic bolt handle design improves control when cycling the action in the field letting a hunter run the bolt quickly and quietly for a fast follow-up shot on moving game. The detachable box magazine holds 4+1 rounds of .338 ARC for quick follow-up shots and the stock s synthetic construction resists warping and swelling that can throw off a wood stock s zero over time. At 6.9 lbs the rifle stays light for long stalks and this Gun Metal Bronze and Forest SP Camo .338 ARC rifle is for sale at ARMSAGORA for hunters wanting a rugged optics-ready platform built for timber country.
