Savage Axis 2 Pro 338 ARC 16.5" Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is built around a spiral fluted threaded 16.5 barrel at a 1:8 twist trimming weight while the 5/8x24 muzzle stands ready for a suppressor or brake. The spiral fluting pulls mass off the barrel without sacrificing rigidity so the rifle carries lighter without giving up the stiffness that keeps groups tight. Black Cerakote coats both the barrel and receiver offering tougher corrosion resistance than a standard finish and standing up to the wear of repeated field use in wet or abrasive conditions. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail sits atop the receiver allowing an optic to be mounted and zeroed right away without hunting for proprietary bases or rings. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets left-handed shooters set a clean break anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs tailoring the trigger pull to the hunter rather than forcing them to adapt to a fixed factory setting. The Mossy Oak Original Bottomland synthetic stock carries enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for a secure confident hold in wet or gloved hands. The Original Bottomland pattern is built to blend into hardwood river bottoms and mixed timber keeping the rifle concealed through a long sit or a slow stalk. An updated ergonomic bolt handle design improves comfort and control when cycling the action speeding up follow-up shots when a second chance matters. The detachable box magazine holds 4+1 rounds of .338 ARC and at 6.9 lbs the rifle carries easily into hardwood timber or over long stalks without wearing down the shooter before the shot presents itself. This left-hand Black and Mossy Oak Original Bottomland .338 ARC rifle is for sale at ARMSAGORA for hunters needing a rugged left-handed optics-ready rifle built around a modern suppressor-ready cartridge.
