Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro 6mm Creedmoor 20" Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is built around a spiral fluted threaded barrel and thread-in headspacing to deliver tack-driving accuracy while shaving weight at the muzzle. That fluting also adds surface area that helps the barrel shed heat more efficiently keeping groups consistent through an extended session on the range with the flat-shooting 6mm Creedmoor. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or brake without any gunsmithing a real benefit for hunters managing recoil on a lightweight platform. The one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail sits atop the Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote receiver giving a scope a solid repeatable mounting surface straight out of the box. The Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish on the barrel and receiver stands up to rain mud and the daily knocks of a hard hunting season far better than bare steel. That Cerakoted action is set into a Savage Western Camo synthetic stock with enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells giving a secure confident hold whether the terrain is sage flats or high desert. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks cleanly between 2.5 and 6 lbs letting the shooter tune the pull to their own technique instead of settling for a factory setting. At 6.9 lbs with a detachable four-round magazine the Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is a capable camo-finished rifle ready for long glassing sessions and the shot that follows.
