Savage Axis 2 Pro .350 Legend 18" Threaded Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is built around a spiral fluted threaded 18 inch barrel chambered in .350 Legend with a 1:16 twist rate matched to this straight-wall cartridge s heavier bullets. The spiral fluting reduces barrel weight while increasing surface area for faster heat dissipation during repeated strings of fire. The Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote finish on both the barrel and receiver resists corrosion and wear far better than standard bluing helping the rifle hold up to harsh field conditions. The 5/8x24 thread pattern accepts muzzle devices or suppressors for hunters managing recoil in open country. The Savage Western Camo fixed synthetic stock features enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells for a secure comfortable hold in any weather. A one-piece 0 MOA Picatinny rail comes installed on the receiver giving hunters a ready mounting surface for a scope without needing separate bases. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger lets shooters dial pull weight between 2.5 and 6 pounds and the detachable box magazine feeds 4 rounds for quick reloads. With an updated ergonomic bolt handle design this Pro model is built for hunters who want a rugged camo-finished rifle for open-country pursuits.
