Savage Axis 2 Pro 243 Winchester 20" 4-Round Bolt Action Rifle

Savage Axis 2 Pro Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro wears a spiral fluted threaded barrel finished in Gun Metal Bronze Cerakote a coating that extends corrosion resistance to the receiver as well and holds up better than standard bluing in wet forest conditions. A 1:9.25 inch twist rate is matched to 243 Win s common bullet weights and the 5/8x24 threaded muzzle allows the addition of a suppressor or muzzle brake. The one-piece zero-MOA Picatinny rail provides a reliable mounting surface for a hunting optic without additional gunsmithing. The spiral fluting trims barrel weight which helps keep the rifle agile when still-hunting through heavy brush and the threaded muzzle means the rifle is ready for sound suppression straight out of the box for hunters who want reduced report in the field. Forest SP Camo covers the redesigned ergonomic synthetic stock giving hunters an edge in the dense woodland cover the pattern is designed to blend into. A contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells and enhanced stock texturing combine for a secure confident hold in any weather whether that grip is wet from rain or gloved for a cold morning sit. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks between 2.5 and 6 pounds letting right-handed shooters dial in the exact trigger feel they prefer for a clean predictable break on game. The detachable 4-round magazine allows quick reloads in the field and makes unloading at the truck or camp straightforward and safe. The Savage Arms Axis 2 Pro is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for forest and woodland hunters who want an accurate Cerakote-finished rifle matched to their hunting environment.
