Savage 110 Ridge Hunter 338 Win Mag 20" Heavy Barrel LH Bolt Action Rifle

Savage 110 Ridge Hunter Features The Savage Arms 110 Ridge Hunter is built around a 20 heavy carbon steel barrel chambered in 338 Win Mag a profile chosen to handle the recoil and heat generated by repeated magnum shots in the field. The 1:10 twist rate is matched to common 338 Win Mag bullet weights for reliable stabilization at hunting ranges. A 5+1 detachable box magazine gives hunters a quick follow-up shot option when tracking large or dangerous game. The threaded 5/8x24 muzzle allows the addition of a brake to help manage the stout recoil of this magnum cartridge keeping the shooter on target for a faster recovery between shots. The Flat Dark Gray synthetic stock includes an adjustable length of pull so left-handed shooters can fit the rifle precisely to their build and hunting layers. A 3 position safety gives fast tactile control in the field letting hunters move safely between stalking and shooting positions without fumbling for a control under pressure. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks anywhere from 2.5 to 6 lbs letting the shooter fine-tune trigger feel without a trip to a gunsmith matching pull weight to conditions and shooter preference. At 8.6 lbs the Savage Arms 110 Ridge Hunter carries enough weight to help absorb magnum recoil while still being manageable for extended carry afield a balance that suits long days spent glassing and stalking in rough terrain.
