Savage Axis 2 XP 308 Win 20" Left Hand Bolt Action Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

Savage Axis 2 XP Features The Savage Arms Axis 2 XP pairs the widely available .308 Win cartridge with a 20 threaded barrel giving the round room to build velocity for medium and large game hunting at practical field distances. A 1:10 twist rate is matched to stabilize the range of bullet weights commonly loaded in .308 Win ammunition. The carbon steel receiver and barrel wear a matte black finish for a durable low-glare surface that holds up to field conditions. Built specifically as a left-hand action it addresses a segment of the market that often has limited options for a dedicated left-hand bolt gun with an enhanced ergonomic bolt handle for smoother cycling. The gray synthetic stock features enhanced texturing and a contoured pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells providing a secure hold in wet or cold field conditions. Length of pull is user-adjustable letting the stock be tailored to fit the individual shooter rather than a single fixed dimension. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger breaks between 2.5 and 6 lbs giving hunters the ability to set a lighter more consistent pull than many out-of-the-box factory triggers provide. Topped with a factory mounted and boresighted 3-9x40mm duplex scope featuring fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments the rifle is ready for final zeroing straight out of the box.
