Description
The Savage Axis 2 XP Hardwood is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in 30-06 Springfield, sold as a bundle with a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope. It has a 22-inch barrel and an overall length of 42.5 inches, and weighs about 7.8 pounds. The rifle is right-handed and uses a matte brown hardwood stock with laser-cut stippling on the pistol grip and forend for grip. The bolt handle has an ergonomic design intended to improve control in rain or cold weather. The stock is carbon steel-finished with no iron sights, so the included scope provides the aiming system. The rifle holds 4 rounds, and the bundle includes a user-adjustable AccuTrigger and thread-in headspacing.
