Savage Arms AXIS 2 XP 270 Winchester Bolt Action Rifle 22" Gray With 3-9x40 Scope

The Savage Arms AXIS 2 XP 270 Winchester is a bolt-action rifle built for hunting, sold as a combo with a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope. It is chambered in 270 Winchester and fitted with a 22-inch barrel for a balanced, maneuverable setup in the field.

Specifications include a carbon steel construction with a matte gray finish, a right-hand bolt action, and a 4-round capacity. The rifle weighs 7.7 pounds and measures 42.5 inches overall. The scope is a 3-9x magnification unit with a 40mm objective and multi-coated lenses, and it has tool-less windage and elevation adjustments. The rifle has no iron sights, so the scope is the primary aiming system.

The redesigned stock has enhanced texturing and an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells. The bolt handle has an ergonomic design intended to improve control in rain or cold weather.
