Description
This Savage Arms AXIS II XP Compact is a left-hand bolt-action youth rifle chambered in 243 Winchester, a cartridge suited to hunting medium-sized game at moderate ranges. The rifle has a 20-inch barrel, a compact frame, and a synthetic stock in OD Green with a matte finish. The stock features enhanced texturing and an ambidextrous pistol grip with palm swells, and the bolt handle is redesigned for easier operation in rain or cold weather. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger and thread-in headspacing are included for accuracy.
The rifle holds 4 rounds and is optics-ready. It is sold as a bundle with a factory-mounted and boresighted 3-9x40 scope with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments.
