Savage Axis 2 XP Compact 308 Winchester 20" Bolt Action Rifle with 3-9x40 Scope

The Savage Axis 2 XP Compact is a right-handed bolt-action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, sold as a bundle with a factory-mounted 3-9x40 scope. It is built for hunting and general-purpose shooting, with a compact 20-inch barrel and an overall length of 39.5 inches.

The rifle has a carbon steel barrel and action with a matte gray finish, weighs about 7.5 pounds, and holds 4 rounds. The 40mm objective scope offers 3-9x magnification with fully multi-coated lenses and tool-less windage and elevation adjustments. The rifle has no iron sights, so the scope is the primary aiming system.

The Axis 2 XP line uses a redesigned stock with enhanced texturing, an updated pistol grip with ambidextrous palm swells, and a bolt handle designed for control in rain or cold weather.
