Seekins Havak Element Element 6.5 PRC 20" 1:8" M3 Carbon Fiber Match Barrel

Seekins Precision Havak Element M3 Features The Seekins Precision Havak Element M3 barrel is built from carbon fiber over a steel liner a construction method that sheds weight compared to a traditional steel barrel while still delivering the rigidity precision shooters depend on. The 1:8 twist rate is matched to the 6.5 PRC cartridge stabilizing the long heavy-for-caliber bullets that give the round its flat trajectory and retained energy at distance. Built for a short-action receiver this 20 barrel is sized for shooters building or upgrading a compact maneuverable precision rifle. Carbon fiber barrels also dissipate heat differently than steel helping to manage point-of-impact shift across strings of fire on the range. At 6.8 lb the Havak Element M3 barrel keeps the overall rifle weight manageable for shooters who carry their rig long distances in the field or hike into a shooting position. Seekins Precision built the Havak line around a reputation for extreme accuracy and field-proven durability and this barrel extends that same philosophy to a lightweight carbon fiber package. Pairing a carbon fiber barrel with a short-action 6.5 PRC build gives long-range shooters a setup that is easier to carry without giving up the ballistic performance the cartridge is known for.
