Description
The Shadow Systems Thread-On Compensator is a black muzzle device for 9mm Luger pistols, designed to reduce felt recoil and help shorten shot-to-shot times. It is built to fit the Shadow Systems MR920, DR920, and XR920 slides and is not compatible with the MR918 series or slides from other manufacturers, where its geometry can make contact and cause damage.
The compensator uses a 1/2-28 thread pitch to attach to the barrel. Its clamping system is intended to secure the device without damaging the threaded section of the barrel. The port size is sized for reliable operation with full-power 9mm ammunition and directs muzzle blast toward the sides of the pistol.
