And lastly, the gently extended and upswept beavertail prevents slide bite without being oversized and in the way of a truly rapid draw. Where the War Poet model really stands out is the slide: aggressively angled serrations in front, rear, and topside, paired with a weight-balancing window cut that reduces reciprocating mass help increase control and reduce recoil. The CR920P also features a self-indexing, self-locking compensator that makes it much easier to control than most subcompact pistols. The compensator helps vent excess gas to control recoil and deliver a softer-shooting handgun.
