Shadow Systems MR920 XR Match Barrel 9mm Luger 4in Unthreaded Spiral Fluted Bronze

The Shadow Systems Match Barrel has a spiral fluted pattern that reduces the weight of the barrel while adding somewhere for dirt and debris to exit when cycling. It is precision machined to drop-in more easily and fits tights in critical lock up areas. Shadow Systems barrels feature minor improvements intended to create more consistent lockup without compromising reliability. The chambers are fully supported and can be fired with hot +P ammo and lead bullets. Shadow Systems engineers have sample barrels that have survived 5 proof rounds so it is unlikely you will have issues with any mainstream, commercially available ammunition. Shadow Systems broach cuts the rifling 1/10" which is a common twist rate for match barrels in 9mm. They use a conventional rifling so these barrels are safe to use with lead or moly coated lead bullets (explanation: polygonal rifled barrels require jacketed ammunition, restricting the options for inexpensive practice ammunition).
