Shield Arms Glock 43X/48 Magazine Catch Release Steel Gold

The Shield Arms Glock 43X/48 Magazine Catch/Release is a steel replacement magazine catch for Glock 43X and 48 pistols. It is designed to work with Shield Arms S15 magazines and is ambidextrous, so it can be operated with either hand.

This gold-finish steel catch has a chamfered, textured button and a lower profile intended for concealed carry. Shield Arms states it is compatible with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 S15 magazines. It remains compatible with plastic OEM magazines, but the manufacturer notes that it can increase wear on plastic magazines over prolonged use and that OEM magazines may not drop free. Shield Arms recommends pairing steel with steel or plastic with plastic, and advises that first-generation aluminum catches may not work with Gen 2 S15 magazines.
