Shooters Choice Gun Rod Cleaning Kit .40 Cal 9-Piece Handgun Kit

The Shooters Choice Gun Rod Cleaning Kit is a nine-piece handgun cleaning system built around an aluminum cleaning rod with an 8-32 threaded female end and a swivel T-handle. The swivel lets the handle rotate independently of the rod, so the attached brush or mop turns with the rifling as it travels down the bore. The kit is sized for .40 S&W and 10mm pistol bores.

The 8-32 thread pattern accepts the included 2 inch .40 caliber bronze phosphor bore brush, a 2 inch cotton bore mop, a pierce point jag, and a slotted tip. Twenty 2.5 by 2.5 inch cotton patches handle final wipe-down passes, and a nylon all-purpose brush cleans frame and action debris. A 0.5 fl oz bottle of FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP is included, and the components ship in a plastic clamshell case.
