Sierra BlitzKing 22 Cal 69gr TVK Bullets 100 Count

The Sierra BlitzKing 22 cal 69 grain bullet is a tipped reloading projectile built for varmints and small game. Sierra designed it for explosive expansion on impact, backed by the accuracy its MatchKing bullets are known for. For a handloader, that means one .224 bullet that can hold a tight group at the range and still open hard on a varmint. That performance starts at the nose. Sierra makes the BlitzKing tip from a proprietary compound and sets it over a thin jacket wrapped around a lead core. Sierra credits the thin jacket for both the enhanced accuracy and the explosive expansion. Because the construction is jacketed lead, this is not a lead-free bullet. If you hunt ground where lead-free projectiles are required, choose a lead-free bullet. On the reloading bench, the .224" diameter fits standard 22 cal centerfire rifle reloading. Before you buy in bulk, confirm your rifle's twist rate will stabilize a 69 grain bullet. Work up from published data for this exact bullet, starting low and watching for pressure signs as you climb.
