Sierra MatchKing 7mm 183gr HPBT Rifle Bullets 500 Count

Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing 183 grain 7mm bullet is engineered for record setting accuracy at extended distances built from jacketed lead for consistent weight and concentricity from bullet to bullet. Its elongated 27 caliber ogive is paired with a final meplat reducing pointing operation which increases the ballistic coefficient for better resistance to wind drift and improved velocity retention. The bearing surface to ogive junction is machined at the same 1.5 degree angle found in match rifle chamber throats helping the bullet align precisely with the bore for every shot. This combination of design details is what has made MatchKing bullets a favorite among competitive long range shooters. Because this bullet is tuned purely for accuracy rather than terminal expansion Sierra notes that MatchKing bullets are not recommended for most hunting applications and will not expand as reliably in varmints as lightly jacketed Hornet BlitzKing or Varminter designs. Shooters loading this bullet should use a barrel with a twist rate of 1x8 inches or faster to properly stabilize it in flight. Sold in boxes of 500 this bullet gives high volume reloaders a consistent repeatable option for match and precision rifle work. Reloaders building ammunition for 7mm precision rifles will find this bullet a proven trusted choice.
