Sierra GameKing Tipped 6.5mm .264 120 Grain Bullets 500 Count

Sierra GameKing Features The Sierra GameKing Tipped GameKing bullet is built in 6.5mm at .264 inch diameter and weighs 120 grains giving reloaders a projectile with a .466 G1 ballistic coefficient for flatter trajectories at extended range. Designed originally for the 6.5 Grendel cartridge this bullet also performs well in 6.5 Creedmoor .260 Remington and 6.5x55 Swede rifles giving it broad appeal across several popular 6.5mm cartridges. Dependable penetration combined with reliable controlled expansion has made this projectile a favorite among Sierra s own test team a strong signal of its consistency on game. For deer and medium game Sierra recommends keeping impact velocity under 2800 feet per second to ensure proper expansion and terminal performance. Beyond big game hunting the 120 grain TGK also performs as an effective varmint bullet in larger 6.5mm cartridges where its flat shooting nature and dependable expansion make quick work of coyotes and smaller varmints. Its heavier weight class relative to lighter 6.5mm bullets gives greater resistance to wind deflection and more penetration on larger varmint species. Reloaders assembling precision loads for AR platform or bolt action rifles in 6.5mm chamberings will find this a versatile option spanning both hunting applications. Packaged 500 to a box this GameKing bullet is intended strictly as a component for handloading and is not a loaded cartridge.
