Sierra GameKing 22 Cal 62gr 0.224" Spitzer Boat Tail Rifle Bullets 500 Count

Sierra GameKing Features The Sierra GameKing line is built around a spitzer boat tail shape a design readily identified by a long ogive point closing to a small diameter exposed lead tip. This 62 grain .224 inch diameter bullet is sized for the .22 caliber family giving handloaders a medium weight option well suited to varmint and predator hunting applications. The boat tail base reduces aerodynamic drag at the rear of the bullet which helps it retain velocity better than a flat base design and resist the effects of both crosswinds and vertical wind drift as it flies downrange. This combination of shape and weight is designed to deliver reliable penetration and expansion on game appropriate for this caliber class. Sierra has built a long-standing reputation among handloaders for consistency from bullet to bullet a quality that translates directly into tighter groups and more predictable ballistic performance at the reloading bench. Packaged 500 to a box this quantity gives serious varmint hunters and high-volume shooters enough projectiles to load a substantial amount of ammunition without frequent reordering. Handloaders pairing this bullet with an appropriate propellant and case combination can expect the flat-shooting performance that has made the GameKing line a trusted choice for decades. For reloaders building their own .22 caliber hunting ammunition the Sierra GameKing 62 grain SBT bullet is available for sale at ARMSAGORA.
