Sierra MatchKing .30 Caliber / .308 230 Grain 500-Count HPBT

Sierra MatchKing Features The Sierra MatchKing 230 grain hollow point boat tail bullet is machined with the same record setting accuracy standards that have made MatchKing a trusted name among competitive shooters worldwide. The jacketed lead construction and boat tail base combine to deliver flat trajectories and tight groups at extended distances in .30 Cal. Ballistic coefficients ranging from .740 to .800 depending on velocity band mean this bullet retains energy and resists wind drift exceptionally well across varying ranges. The precise bearing surface to ogive junction mirrors match chamber throat geometry reducing runout and improving consistency shot after shot. Sierra notes that MatchKing bullets are built for competition and long range accuracy rather than hunting applications since their jacket design does not provide the same reliable expansion as dedicated hunting bullets. Reloaders working with a 1x8 inch or faster twist rate will get the most from this bullet s stability and accuracy potential. The 500 count package offers a cost effective way for high volume shooters to stock up for practice and competition sessions. This .308 diameter projectile is available for sale at ARMSAGORA for precision rifle shooters loading for extended range work.
