Description
The Sierra MatchKing 77 grain HPBT is a .22 caliber component bullet for handloaders building rifle ammunition for long-range competition. It is a hollow point boat tail design intended to give match shooters consistent ballistic performance at extended distances.
The bullet measures .224 inches (5.69 mm) in diameter and has a sectional density of .219. Its ballistic coefficient is listed at .362 at 2500 fps and above, .362 between 2500 and 1800 fps, and .343 at 1800 fps and below. It is designed for barrels with a 7 to 8 inch rate of twist.
