Brownells Sight Base Screw Kit

This kit has maintained significant popularity among our customers for many years. Gunsmiths and dealers engaged in sight work have consistently found it indispensable. The slotted-head screws included in the kit fulfill at least 99% of all scope and iron sight mounting requirements. The screw kit is housed in a plastic box and contains 12 pieces each of the 18 most commonly used screw sizes for scopes or sights. Additionally, it includes a pair of chrome-plated tweezers with flat jaws for easy screw selection and our convenient checker/shortener jig, which facilitates quick and precise screw length adjustments. The screws are crafted from high-strength, forged tool steel, featuring slotted heads and are tempered and blued to stringent specifications. We recommend that if a screw requires cutting and fitting, it should be treated with rust-inhibitive Oxpho-Blue prior to use. This treatment provides a highly rust-resistant, durable blue coating, enhancing both the appearance and longevity of your work.
