Description
The SilencerCo ASR 7.62 Flash Hider is a steel muzzle device for 7.62x51mm NATO and 30 caliber rifles. It attaches to SilencerCo ASR mount systems, letting the user move between compatible suppressors and muzzle devices with a one-hand attach and detach action.
The device has a 1/2-28 tpi thread pitch and a black nitride finish. It is designed to reduce muzzle flash. Once shouldered, the locking ring keeps the device from rotating or loosening during sustained firing. Its resonance suppression is meant to reduce the tuning-fork effect common in 3-prong flash hiders.
It is compatible with the Specwar 5.56 and 7.62 mounts and the Harvester Big Bore and Omega ASR mounting systems.
