This enhanced version, known as the Sinclair stainless ultimate trimmer, combines the world's most accurate trimmer with the Sinclair micrometer head. The L.E. Wilson case trimmer ensures precise alignment and secure holding of cases during the trimming process, resulting in consistent trim lengths. This precision is achieved through L.E. Wilson's unique case holder system, which grips the case by the body taper. The trimmer case holder, cutter housing and micrometer adjustment unit are perfectly aligned, eliminating the need for pilots or collets that could adversely affect trimming accuracy. Constructed from stainless steel, the L.E. Wilson trimmer is designed for durability and long-term use. The Sinclair micrometer head facilitates easy adjustment of trim length in increments of 0.001 inches, with an adjustment range exceeding 2 inches. The micrometer displays the actual case length enhancing the user experience. Simply determine the desired trim length, set it on the micrometer and proceed. The micrometer features clear, easy-to-read engravings and can be locked in place once set. It accommodates cases ranging from .22 Hornet to .416 Rigby. For trimming cases shorter than 1.3 inches, such as pistol cases, a spacer (#749-002-094) is required. Completing the Sinclair stainless ultimate trimmer is the Sinclair mounting stand with shark fin clamp. This system facilitates the installation and removal of the trimmer case holder with a smooth swing-arm motion. The shark fin trimmer clamp securely holds the case head against the micrometer adjustment head, ensuring a quick, accurate and chatter-free trim.
