Description
The SME Sight-Rite DX Deluxe is a universal laser bore sighter for aligning a scope or sight with a firearm's bore before live fire. It is intended to help set up a new optic without using ammunition at the range. The device fits the muzzle of firearms in the 17 to 50 caliber range and is supplied with 12 and 20 gauge adapters for shotguns.
The laser is powered by three LR44 batteries, which are included. Assorted O-rings are provided for a snug fit at the muzzle and to avoid metal-on-metal contact that can scratch a barrel. The aluminum body is black. The kit is sold as a bundle that includes a carrying case and a calibrated alignment target.
