Smith &Wesson ~ K-22 Masterpiece ~ .22 Long Rifle

Manufactured 1955 - Post-war version often called the "Third Model". These were made from 1946 through around 1957/1958, before Smith & Wesson started stamping the numeric model. In 1957, Smith & Wesson decided to switch to numeric designations (the K-22 became the Model 17).
