The Smith & Wesson M&P9 M2.0 Competitor is a specialized, metal-framed evolution of the M2.0 series, purpose-built for USPSA, IDPA, and other competitive shooting disciplines. It blends the ergonomics of the M&P line with a T6 Aluminum frame to provide more weight and better balance than the standard polymer models. The lightweight aluminum frame provides a more rigid platform and increases the overall weight of the pistol, which helps soak up recoil and allows for faster follow-up shots. Enhanced Trigger features the newer M2.0 flat-face trigger design with a light, crisp break and a very short, tactile reset. The slide is factory-cut for optics (C.O.R.E. system) and includes multiple mounting plates to fit most popular red dot sights. Includes a removable, oversized flared magazine well to facilitate lightning-fast reloads under pressure. The 5-inch slide features aggressive weight-reduction cuts at the front and top to decrease reciprocating mass and improve cycle time. Oversized Controls features an enlarged, reversible magazine release for easier access during high-speed stages.
