The Smith & Wesson Model 19-5 is a classic K-frame double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and is widely regarded as one of the finest fighting and sporting revolvers ever produced. Known for its excellent balance, smooth action, and proven performance, the Model 19 has been a favorite of law enforcement officers, shooters, and collectors for decades. Based on its serial number prefix and Model 19-5 configuration, this example was manufactured during the late 1980s, likely around 1987-1988. This revolver remains in excellent overall condition, showing very little evidence of use and presenting exceptionally well throughout. Combining classic styling, strong collector interest, and the versatility of the .357 Magnum cartridge, the Smith & Wesson Model 19-5 remains one of the most desirable revolvers in the company's history.
