Smith & Wesson M&P15 AXE 5.56 NATO 16.1" 30-Round Semi-Auto Rifle

The Smith & Wesson M&P 15 AXE is a semi-automatic AR-15 pattern rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington, with a 16.1-inch barrel and a 30-round capacity. It is intended for general-purpose shooting and for use with a suppressor, and its ambidextrous controls, including the bolt release, magazine catch and manual thumb safety, suit both right-handed and left-handed shooters.

The rifle has a threaded barrel with a 1:8 twist 5R rifled profile and an Armornite finish, a Gemtech GVAC suppressor-optimized upper with a low-profile gas block and a mid-length direct impingement gas system, and a Gemtech ETM flash hider. A 15-inch Midwest Industries Combat M-LOK free-float handguard and a Radian Raptor charging handle are fitted. The aluminum receiver has an anodized black finish, and the tactical folding front and rear sights are included. The rifle weighs 6.47 pounds.
