Smith & Wesson Model 25 125th Anniversary 44 Magnum Revolver

The Model 25 traces its lineage back though the Model of 1955 and then to the original Model of 1917 when the Smith and Wesson Co. rechambered M&P revolvers into .45 ACP to aid the war effort. They well-known for their accuracy and rather dominated the "Bull's Eye" target competitions for a number of years. S&W produced the 25 in two cal's, .45 ACP and .44 Magnum, in alternating years. This one is a .44 Magnum, with identifying it as a commemoration model to celebrate S&W's 125th Anniversary.
