Description
This Smith & Wesson 1st Model .44 Hand Ejector (Triple Lock Target) is chambered in .44 S&W Special and features a desirable 4-inch barrel. With the ultra-low serial number 425, this revolver was produced during the model's earliest years, circa 1908-1909. It remains in very good condition, retaining an attractive finish with honest wear from age and use, and is fitted with handsome custom wood target stocks. Widely regarded as one of Smith & Wesson's finest revolver designs, the Triple Lock is highly sought after by collectors and shooters alike. This example is made even more desirable by its provenance, having come from the personal collection of renowned sixgun authority John Taffin, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Taffin Collection.
