Description
The Smith & Wesson Model 66 is a stainless steel double-action revolver built on the K-Frame, a platform Smith & Wesson introduced in 1899 to handle the .38 Special cartridge. It has long been used by police and military personnel as well as target shooters and enthusiasts.
The 4.25-inch barrel and matte stainless finish give the Model 66 a 9.69-inch overall length and a weight of 2.31 pounds. Its six-round cylinder is chambered for .357 Magnum and also accepts .38 Special. Red ramp front and white outline rear sights aid sight alignment.
