Smith &Wesson ~ Model 36 ~ .38 S&ampW Special

For your consideration, the Smith & Wesson model 36 revolver chambered in .38 S&W Special. Initially produced in 1950 as the "Chiefs Special" it became known as the model 36 in 1957. This J-Frame revolver was up through the 1980s, and a new run was later introduced in the mid 1990s. This model was made in the 1960s, more likely the late 60s based on the serial, in 1969 serials began with a J prefix, which is not present on this model.
