The TEMPO barrel system features an internal rotary barrel and external shroud allowing for the muzzle device mounting. The proprietary gas system ensures the projectile has exited the barrel before the cam opens and ejects the casing. This allows for the smooth cycling of rounds and reduces the risk of malfunction. The Smith and Wesson M&P 5.7 is fully ambidextrous with mirrored controls and reversible mag release. The frame features a full-size slim grip with enhanced texturing.
