Smith & Wesson Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp Thumb Safety, 380 AUTO, 2.875 Barrel, OD Green/Flat Dark Earth, 12 Rounds, Pistol

Smith & Wesson Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp with Thumb Safety, OD Green/Flat Dark EarthThe Smith & Wesson Performance Center Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp takes the micro .380 AUTO pocket pistol and gives it the features normally saved for larger carry guns. A ported 2.875" barrel and PowerPort compensator reduce felt recoil. Ameriglo night sights help with low-light aiming. A flat trigger, an aggressive slide design and a manual thumb safety complete the package. This model, part number 14942, comes in a two-tone finish: a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote stainless steel slide on an Olive Drab Green Cerakote polymer frame. It ships with one 10-round and one 12-round magazine.Carry Comp PowerPort for Less Felt RecoilSmall .380 pistols are easy to carry but can be snappy to shoot. The Performance Center addresses that with its Carry Comp design. The PowerPort is cut into the slide over a ported stainless steel barrel and directs gas upward as each round fires. That counters muzzle rise and reduces felt recoil, so follow-up shots come back on target faster. For a pistol that weighs about 11.8 ounces, that makes a real difference in comfort and control during practice and in a defensive situation. The 2.875" barrel is stainless steel with an Armornite finish, a durable, corrosion-resistant nitride treatment that holds up to sweat, humidity and holster wear.Enhanced Ergonomics and an Aggressive SlideThe Bodyguard 2.0 platform uses a more ergonomic profile than the original Bodyguard 380. The slim, textured grip fits the hand better and gives more control when firing, while staying thin enough for pocket or inside-the-waistband carry. At just 0.88" wide, the pistol disappears under a T-shirt or in a jacket pocket. The redesigned slide adds more grip coverage, so you can grab and rack it effectively whether you use an overhand or slingshot technique, even with wet or cold hands. That matters on a micro pistol, where the slide offers little room to hold on to.Flat Trigger and Manual Thumb SafetyThe flat-face trigger gives consistent finger placement and a crisp break, which helps accuracy from a short sight radius. This version also has a manual thumb safety, a feature many owners want for pocket carry or for an extra layer of control. If you prefer a pistol without a manual safety, see the related models below.Ameriglo Night SightsThe Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp comes with Ameriglo Protector sights. The front is a LumiGreen night sight that pulls the eye to the front post in daylight and glows in low light. The rear is a blacked-out square-notch Ameriglo Protector sight that keeps the sight picture simple and fast, with no distracting dots.OD Green and Flat Dark Earth Two-ToneThe finish is what sets 14942 apart from the black Performance Center Carry Comp. The stainless steel slide wears Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, and the polymer frame is finished in Olive Drab Green Cerakote. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating known for abrasion and corrosion resistance, so the colors hold up to daily carry.SpecificationsManufacturer: Smith & Wesson Performance CenterModel: Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp with Manual Thumb SafetyPart number: 14942UPC: 022188908640Caliber: .380 AUTOAction: Striker firedSize: MicroCapacity: 10 and 12 roundsMagazines included: 2 (one 10-round, one 12-round)Barrel: 2.875" ported stainless steel, Armornite finishSlide: Stainless steel, Flat Dark Earth CerakoteFrame: Polymer, Olive Drab Green CerakoteGrip: Slim, textured polymerTrigger: Flat face with crisp breakSafety: Manual thumb safetyFront sight: Ameriglo Protector LumiGreen night sightRear sight: Blacked-out square-notch Ameriglo ProtectorOptic ready: NoLength: 5.85"Height: 4.00"Width: 0.88"Weight: 11.8 ozFinish: OD Green/Flat Dark EarthRelated ProductsWant the same pistol in black?
