For your consideration, a Smith & Wesson model 27-2 chambered in .357 Magnum. With its finely checkered sight plane, the model 27 was once S&W's flagship revolver. The barrel is pinned, the chambers are recessed, and the frame is a 3-screw. This piece dates to 1977. Note: the factory target grips have been slightly reprofiled.
